What’s New for 2018?

Dark Tower

CinCityCon 2018 promises to be one of the most exciting gaming weekends available.  We have already made several improvements on last year’s show with more to come.

Most notably, we are moving CinCityCon upstairs at the convention center to both bring the majority of activities into the same room and also to increase the total space available.  To get an idea of the changes, please take a look at the maps of the upstairs at the convention center and of the Northern Lights ballroom where most events will be held.

The library is moving into a larger room.  This will allow us to offer tables directly adjacent to the library for the playing of Play-to-Win and other games.  And of course we have added over 100 new titles to the library since last year including games like Sagrada, Spirit Island, Morocco, 1754, Stuffed Fables, When I Dream, Fox in the Forest, Meeple Circus, Ancestree, Professor Evil and the Citadel of Time, Escape from 100 Million BC and many more.

We are adding new gaming-related activities.  We have partnered with a local Artemis provider in hopes of offering a more in depth experience with that game.  Additionally we are currently negotiating to bring a Laser Tag event to the convention.  The success of our Kickstarter will contribute to the nature and quality of this attraction.  We are also partnering with Cincinnati Arsenal Gamers to bring their giant Space Hulk game to the convention.

For those backing on Kickstarter we also offer the very exclusive Grail Games Lounge on Friday.  This event will offer the unique opportunity to play some very rare games not available through the library such as Star Wars Queen’s Gambit, Dark Tower, Heroquest and more.

And across the board (ha, ha, no pun intended!) we will have more tournaments, events and attractions; as well as enhancements to the appearance, fun and excitement.  We can’t wait to see you there.
