Registration and Arrival Info

If you are reading this, then it’s here: CinCityCon 2020!  Here is basic information on what to do when you arrive.

Everyone will start at the Registration desk. We will have three lines at Registration. 

  1. Regular Registration
    • Closest to the main doors will be walk up registration. If you have not registered by the time you arrive, you will need to stop at one of our laptop computers and go ahead and register yourself. (Alternatively, you can register on your phone.) You can pay by credit card online or select cash and pay when you get in the regular registration line.
    • If you do walk-up registration or if you registered after online pre-registration ended (after October 1st), you will get in this same regular registration line. If you are paying cash, you will pay when you reach the front of the line. You will receive a badge, sleeve and lanyard. 
    • This is also your best opportunity to purchase generic tokens to get into your events. Don’t forget!
      You are now free to explore CinCityCon.
  2. Will Call/Pre-Registration
    • If you pre-registered during the pre-registration period, your badge will be waiting for you at Will Call. You will receive a badge, sleeve and a lanyard.
    • If you bought generics, you will receive those at the same time.
    • If you registered for events, your GM(s) will have your information. You will not need to provide them tokens as we have taken care of that for you. If you have any concerns or questions you can ask at Registration or at HQ in the Main Hall.
  3. Kickstarter
    1. First of all, thank you for being an early supporter of CinCityCon 2019. All Kickstarter backers badges will be at this line. You will also receive your Kickstarter rewards at the same time. So you will receive a badge, sleeve, lanyard and your Kickstarter reward(s).
    2. If you added on badges during the Kickstarter, please note that those will be at Will Call. If those people are arriving separately, they can pick them up there, or you can ask our registration staff at the Kickstarter line to retrieve them for you.
    3. If you bought generics, our kickstarter staff will retrieve them from regular registration for you.
    4. If you registered for events, your GM(s) will have your information. You will not need to provide them tokens as we have taken care of that for you. If you have any concerns or questions you can ask at Registration or at HQ in the Main Hall.

A few remaining notes for everyone. Don’t forget to get your generic tokens, you will need these to get into most events if you did not pre-register. Your badge is all you need for the Library, Designer and Publisher Demos, the Vendor booths, and con-wide events such as the Cosplay contest. Schedule information is available online, will be posted strategically throughout the convention center and is available at GM HQ. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to visit HQ in the Main Hall. But most importantly of all, HAVE FUN!
